Building a custom home is exciting, but it’s also complex. There are countless decisions, moving parts, and challenges that require the right team paying attention every step of the way. We started Skyline because we believe there was a better way to manage that process and create a better client experience.

Our background is different from most custom builders. Before residential construction, we spent 15 years managing large-scale industrial and complex construction projects where coordination, planning, and problem-solving were critical every day. Five years ago, we brought that experience into home building and paired it with a team of professionals who have spent their careers building homes.

For our clients, that means working with a team that communicates clearly, plans ahead, and stays steady when projects get complicated. We specialize in challenging builds, from steep lots to difficult access and weather-sensitive timelines. In many ways, that’s the work we enjoy most.

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, we’re here to guide the process, collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and trades, and keep communication transparent along the way. Building a home is one of the biggest investments most people will ever make. Our job is to make sure the experience feels manageable, the process feels collaborative, and the finished home is exactly what you envisioned.

Your vision, our craft.

‍Neighbors building for neighbors.

We’re a team of experienced detailed craftsmen who chose North Idaho on purpose. We live in Sandpoint and fully embrace the lifestyle here, from skiing and mountain biking to lake days, fishing, camping, and golf. The same landscape we build on is the one we call home, and that shapes the pride we take in every project.

We’re family-oriented people who care deeply about this community. We coach youth sports, volunteer through local organizations and church, and are raising families here ourselves. Our spouses serve the community in healthcare, counseling, and local businesses, and we value being part of what makes this area strong.

We work hard, bringing deep construction experience, disciplined project management, and a genuine passion for challenging builds. And when the workday ends, we enjoy the place we’re proud to call home.

Say hello.
